Seiko Astron HAB005 – GPS Solar 2026 Limited Edition

The Seiko Astron HAB005 is a men's GPS solar watch. It is released as the GPS Solar 2026 Limited Edition. Astron takes its name from the Seiko Quartz Astron of 1969, the world's first quartz wristwatch.

It runs on Seiko caliber 5X63, a GPS solar movement that sets itself by satellite signal and is charged by light. The movement has 14 jewels. Fully charged, it runs for approx. 6 months (up to approx. 2 years in power-save mode). Rated accuracy is ±15 seconds per month (without receiving a GPS signal and at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C). Functions include overcharge prevention, power save, chronograph up to 24 hours in 1/20 second increments, perpetual calendar to the February 28, 2100, world time function (38 cities) and dual-time among others.

The titanium case, finished with a super-hard coating, measures 43.4 mm wide, 12.4 mm thick and 50 mm from lug to lug. Lug width is 14 mm. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal, with a super-clear coating. Seiko's LumiBrite luminous paint is applied to the hands and indexes for legibility in the dark. It comes with an easy-adjust three-fold clasp with push button release. Other details include LIMITED EDITION on the case back, serial number engraved on the case back, an additional silicone strap is included, quick-change system and screw case back.

The watch is water resistant to 100 m (10 bar) and magnetic resistant to 4,800 A/m.
