The Seiko Coutura SSG010 is a men's radio-controlled solar watch.
It runs on Seiko caliber 8B92, a solar-powered movement that corrects itself by radio time signal. The movement has 10 jewels. Fully charged, it runs for approx. 6 months (up to approx. 2 years in power-save mode). Rated accuracy is ±15 seconds per month (without receiving a GPS signal and at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C). Functions include overcharge prevention, quick-start, power save, 24-hour hand, chronograph up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments and full-auto calendar correct to the December 31, 2099 among others.
The stainless steel case, finished with a hard coating, measures 45.3 mm wide and 11.5 mm thick. Lug width is 12 mm. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal. Seiko's LumiBrite luminous paint is applied to the hands and indexes for legibility in the dark. It comes with a three-fold clasp with push button release. Other details include screw-down crown.
The watch is water resistant to 100 m (10 bar).
