The Seiko Prospex SPB249 from the Land line is a men's automatic watch. Prospex is Seiko's collection of professional-specification sports watches for land, sea and air.
It runs on Seiko caliber 6R35, an automatic movement that can also be wound by hand. The movement has a power reserve of approx. 70 hours and 24 jewels. Rated accuracy is +25 to -15 seconds per day. Functions include stop second hand and date display.
The stainless steel case measures 38 mm wide, 12.9 mm thick and 46.2 mm from lug to lug. Lug width is 19 mm. The dial is protected by curved sapphire crystal, with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Seiko's LumiBrite luminous paint is applied to the hands and indexes for legibility in the dark. It comes with a three-fold clasp with push button release. Band length is 195 mm. Other details include screw-down crown and see-through and screw case back.
The watch is water resistant to 200 m (20 bar). It weighs 146 g.
